Very Highly Recommended. Thanks to Michael and Kathy we have a fantastic set of formal and informal shots of our wedding. They prepared well in advance of the day, ensuring they understood our needs and how we wanted the photography to work. This put us at ease such that on the day we could just enjoy ourselves knowing that the photos were taken care of. All our guests commented on how well done the photos were - to us and our guests they "just seemed to happen" - this is down to all the hard work Michael and Kathy put in to make sure this hugely important part of the day ran smoothly.

From the first meeting we felt that they were very approachable, ready to discuss everything we wanted. Michael Whiston did our wedding photos last Aug on a very challenging day for a photographer....brilliant sunshine and heavy rain ! We were very pleased with the results, as he was as well, as he asked to feature many of them on his website. Michael is something of a perfectionist and it has paid off with a stunning set of pics. It can seem like a pain in the neck posing for them at times when you just want to chat and have a deserved drink but when the dust has faded a great set of photo's is absolutely priceless and a cause for much joy. One thing we particularly liked was their friendliness and organisation beforehand, we really got to know Michael and his partner in a couple of meetings and the day flowed very smoothly as a result. The other aspect we really liked was Michael's eye for the unposed shot, we asked for and got, a minimum of posed 'traditional' shots and he caught some absolutely fantastic situations just through his eye for a shot. Overall, we personally liked Michael and his partner (which makes things a lot easier!) and we are very happy with the quality and style of his work. Highly reccommended !
